The AAHE is a part of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. It promotes comprehensive health education programming in schools, colleges and community settings and has a full time staff person dedicated to following legislative issues in Washington DC. AAHE publishes the Journal of Health Education and a quarterly newsletter, HE-Xtra.
